Sending love and lots-o-bass from Virginia, producer Saaj has been making waves in the “new r&b” community with his fresh perspective on a genre that has, in our book, always been cool.
Putting out relatively hard-hitting, dance electro just a year ago, his newest work is more relaxed; perfect for the original r&b lover who is open to a bit more bass. Saaj does not simply sample a pre-exisiting track (in fact, most of his newer work features smaller vocalists); he creates his own rhythm and blues stylized more modernly than what you heard in the 90’s and early 00’s.
