The world of west coast bass music seems to be generously overflowing with a talented group of some of the most promising rising stars in the low-end, future bass game; as they’ve almost singlehandedly begun redefining the genre with their innovative take on 808 centered trap/dubstep hybrid productions, and NorCal natives and longtime friends G Jones and Bleep Bloop are situated at the head of the pack.

Trap and bass wonder kid, G Jones, fuses inspiration from his native Northern California roots with his background in dubstep to create a unique hybrid style that boasts hip-hop influences with a future bass twist, while Bleep Bloop’s musical world, on the other hand, is one of stripped back, bass-heavy beats paired with surreal and angular soundscapes that portray a more aggressive and off the wall sound. When their musical forces collide the two producers unleash some serious heat onto the bass music world, as seen with their latest release: a free remix of A$ap Rocky’s track “M’$.” The duo’s A$ap flip delivers the personification of understated, infectious, low-end swag with a massive bass heavy punch.

With live performances laced with finger-drumming, controllerism, and seamless DJing and heavy controller use, Mad Zach is one of Native Instruments’ lead endorsed performance artists as well as one of electronic music’s most bass slapping, mind bending, and brain melting future bass producers in the game. That being said, “future” is a wild understatement when describing Zach’s dark and heavy style, which lies at the intersection of hip hop, glitch, dub, and trap, all the while, still remaining uniquely its own. From his combination of analog tones and digital precision, Mad Zach has made himself one of future bass’s most sought after up-and-coming producers.

After already releasing his Kräftig EP this year; along with other various remixes and collaborations, Mad Zach has blessed fans with yet another 2015 EP release, entitled Quantum Shock. This 10 track bass oriented, booty-shaking masterpiece includes 5 originals, a thunderous collaboration with G Jones, and remixes from Bleep Bloop, Pixelord, Amp Live, and Conrack.

Although they’re not household names yet, Doshy, Bleep Bloop and The OriGinALz are some of the most forward thinking and hard-hitting producers in today’s low-end, future bass game. With diverse backgrounds in genres spanning from hip hop and dubstep to orchestral and world music, these producers are spearheading the weird and wonderful future movement.

With extremely solid and distinguished styles of their own, Doshy, Bleep Bloop and The OriGinALz collided creative forces to deliver an epic remix of English Grime MC, Wiley’s and Oakland rapper God’s Gift’s track, “And Again.” With a chirpy bassy flare, this rendition of “And Again” boasts an extremely colorful and raw sound that was made to slay dancefloors in an entirely innovative, yet accessible way.
