If it’s not Mothica’s sexy and confident vocals that mesh perfectly with that pristine future soul sound, it’s Delusion’s garage influence and re-fix of Elènne’s well orchestrated synth work that will make you press “repeat.”

What a wonderful Lucidity! Beautiful weather, beautiful people . . . such is Santa Barbara every single day. We hope you are almost fully recovered from dancing in the dust all weekend, and if you aren’t, you have another week to get those legs in check before we see you all again at our Dirtybird take over alumni weekend!

Not even trying to front, we already miss Lucidity, like, a lot. Let’s take a second and reminisce with a track from a favorite artist last weekend, Defunk.

If you were unable to make it to the main stage Saturday at 11PM, condolences to you. Canadian producer / DJ, DeFunk took the sea of dancers by the hips for a little bump n’ grind, working the crowd with the funkiest glitched-out hip-hop tracks. Taking a glance around mid-groove, everyone was not only dancing, but there were stuck in an ear-to-ear smile, seemingly unable to be still.
